How Much Total timing advance should I see @ WOT with X1 Cam?

Question How Much Total timing advance should I see @ WOT with X1 Cam?

Just Curious How much Timing should I be at with the X1 cam,between the 6000-6500 range I am getting 22-23 degress of timing with no KR....

Mine is 28* at WOT from like 2500 to 6900 rpm.

For the timing to be that low, you must be in the low octane table for some reason. I would get 27 deg stock. I run 29 deg max now with no issues.

Im in the same boat . . . . Im getting 18 - 21* all the time WOT but im not getting any knock . . ..thats going to change soon though when I get it tuned

Thanks for the Replies Guys I think my tuner screwed up and put my n2o tune in that He pulled out before I got my timing tuner.I run Sunoco 94 in my car.I put 5 adv timing in my timing tuner for WOT and the car woke up Big time its amazing how much 4-5 degrees makes.Jayson @ MTI said 28 is prob where I should be,but 30 may be to much for pump gas now-a-days.

I wa at 30 with stock heads and mods in sig. Dynoed /scanned and had 2.5 degs. of k.r. Knocked mine done to 26.5 in those rpm/loaad range.
