Speedmaster MAIN Studs? Use them?
Speedmaster MAIN Studs? Use them? Anyone use the speedmaster main stud kit? here a summit link......https://www.summitracing.com/parts/s...1024/overview/
I'm not trying to be cheap, i'm on a budget and its either use these or stock bolts. My thought process is if they are strong as the stock bolts, they would be worth it to stop the torquing of the bolts in the aluminum blocks threads. Thoughts?
FYI....my reason is this: $250 for ARP studs + $350 to line bore my block = No Bueno for me.

meh....maybe I jumped the gun....looks like they wont work with the windage tray.....

Don't run speedmaster anything. Absolute garbage. I bought a set of head studs to try and "save" a few bucks and then one snapped off in the block. Luckily for me I was able to stick the stud back in and find the busted groove and twisted the rest back out of the block
i'm not. I'm still kicking around the idea of running arp bolts. I havent had anyone tell me they had to line hone their block yet. all ive been told is check it.
