All i need is this part circled in red apparently the tune shop lost the one that was in it which Idk how. Or if anyone has a really cheap cover they want to sell since I only need the little nipple piece even if it's self contained I'll get it out and jb weld it lol.

I'm not sure why you would want to plug it. That appears to be a LS6 valley cover I would use it a it is attended and route it to the tb . Do not jb weld it , if for some reason you don't like this system , just get a LS1 valley cover and sell this LS6

Hello,
I measured the tube and it is 3/8" outside diameter. Plumbing stores sell copper tubes that is 3/8" od. Might be nickel plated- no problem, used to hook up sinks from the shut off valve. Buy that and A Springing shaped tool that slips inside to bend it into the shape you need. JB and you are set.
Hope that helps
Pipe is measured by the ID, Tubes are OD, just in case you wanted to know.

You probably could remove it, tap it for a NPT fitting and put a barb fitting in it.
Yes that would be an easy fix, good idea---if there was enough material to tap. NPT fittings need a large hole size.
Since the boss [area where the tube is missing] is a little under .600" wide [ about 9/16"]. What size tap do you recommend?
A 3/8" tap takes a 9/16" drill.
A 1/4" tap takes a 7/16" drill. Which would leave 1/16" thickness on the sides of the hole, a little thin.
A 1/8" tap takes a Q or .332" drill. But the hole is already .375" in diameter.
Maybe??? one could grind the boss off and tap into the top on the cover--if after removing the cover and checking to see if there would be enough material to tap.
But that seems like too much work.
And I am lazy.
1/8" pipe will work fine, as long as you don't tap it very deep, and use plenty of Teflon tape, or JB Weld, on the threads. The tap will probably slide in a few threads before it start tapping, and you should stop tapping before it starts cutting very deep. I'd suggest having the fitting you want to use in your hand before you start; tap a thread or 2, check the fit, tap another thread or 2, check, etc. until you get an acceptable fit. I'd bet you won't want to go more than 4 or 5 threads deep.
