Like Katech , Livernois has a CNC program for $500 but keep in mind this on runners only does not touch the chamber no VJ . You send your cores bare and cleaned .

As for the hand port on 799 is not a good choice for a novice , many of these have a seat overhang can be tricky to blend , the die cast 243 is much better in this aspect .and don't have this problem. I would probably get the best VJ and have them bowl blend and call it a day. If you're still determined to hand port , get cheap set 706 and practice on them first , if you muck them up your only out $50 bucks.

Start at the combustion chamber and unshroud the valves to increase low and mid lift flow numbers. Very easy to do on all LS heads and you will get better results than just port matching and bowl clean up.

Exactly and there's more power in the valve job and bowl blend in many cases

If I had to choose between porting and bowl blending with a valve job, i'd go for the bowl blend and valve job.

Texas speed does a valve job, back cut on the intake valves, bowl blend, they radius the exhaust valves, cnc port the ports, and I believe they also cnc the chamber. Double check that info but I'm pretty sure they do it all in their port program.

Not knocking the Katech program. $500 is a really nice price, but be aware it's just port work only.

TSP does all you say BUT chamber work. However, any milling needed is included in the $799.99 price.

This exactly. Improved flow all over without losing low lift flow,

The 1st thing I did on my 799 heads was remove the rocker stud boss lump and I saw that on AGearHead4Life Youtube channel. Coming from the SBC days I know how much a set of heads can improve the power production. I'll know what my '01 Camaro can run once Fontana opens up in 2020. Port your heads if you want to learn.
