In particular I would have liked to have seen 900whp on 93 only from your previous post. Haven't seen anything that high on true 93 only.

cuz he prolly be full of ****.

In my 43 years of lesson learning, one thing I’ve learned is there’s quite a few people that walk this earth that are just full of ****. There’s people who like to talk a lot of ****. Then there’s people who walk quietly but carry a big stick. I’ve noticed that most of the truly fast guys are like the last statement. Of course you’ll always have a few big headed jack asses thrown in.

Really? I maxed out 80lb injectors on pump gas before going to E85 and 210’s. Fairly low compression engine, bunch of boost, and dirt timing. But when you have to run 10* timing instead of 18 it doesnt feel nearly as snappy.

People have made well over 1000 actually. Was just showing my friend a 427 turbo making 1400 on pump.

I would agree most people aren't just full of ****, they are mildly retarded. Don’t get me wrong I like talking **** as much as the next guy, its part of the fun to me. But I also like backing it up when the time comes for it. But get one thing right, I never claimed to be fast, hell name even says slow!

Perhaps I just don't peruse the Tube enough to see them. I haven't seen them done on here at all. The ~750whp I did on straight 93 is the highest I've heard on here. Not to say that others haven't done more, just don't see it hardly ever without some kind of booster/meth/etc.. I do agree with your recipe though. If the timing is low enough and your cooling is decent you can make good power on 93.

judging by your posts, I’d guess that your car is all stock and barely has a cam and runs 8’s on 10lbs of boost and you hold the intergalactic record for the fastest all stock car in the universe. Lol

I would agree that I don't like to go above 750 on pump with most setups that people flog without paying attention. But I push things on my own cars with all the fuels and it ended up biting me, SBE eventually pinched a ring land on pump so I don't bother pushing it that hard anymore. Never had a ring land problem on E, all the new stations have it around here and its cheap so that's my route. That said I have bent stock rods and pushed gaskets on E, everything has a limit but part of the fun is finding it!

Nowhere near the fastest but yes it's a simple SBE, baby cam and turbo, decent clutch and driveshaft (ahem torque tube) but mostly stock drivetrain (has diff brace and mounts).

You have to push things to see where they break, I've run mid 9's on stock diff/axles, and 8's with nothing more then dropping in a truetrac and better axles in a much heavier car. No spool or anything crazy needed for a decently quick street car these days.

SLOW "doesn't get off on putting stuff out there" but also SLOW puts everything out there and has done everything anyone has, but better.

Seriously guy, can you swing on your own vine in another thread? This one is getting pretty garbled from it.

You attempt to hock parts in every thread... pot meet kettle. Never said I did anything better, but that I’ve actually tried things instead of just reading about them on facebook.

Im sorry, i thought thats what being a vendor meant? And also, there was a huge talk about this a while back. I definitely dont try to "hock" anything. Look up the meaning of that word. And i dont try to sell on every thread also. BUT even if i did, i am the reason you get to post stuff on this forum. So enjoy my parts "hocking" ;-)

We install and tune in house as well as being a parts warehouse and parts vendor, and im sure my experience is well up there also with nearly every part and combo you can imagine.

Terrible deflection though

Damn I thought I was close on the wording:

People who pawn goods at a pawnshop hock them. That’s why such places are sometimes called “hock shops.”

After all you guys are basically the pawn shop of LS1tech.

I get to enjoy forums for a lot more reasons then you, hell forums were a lot better before they got bought out and sold themselves out to vendor income. But I’m glad you think that gives you some sort of higher platform, stand on that soapbox

Your posts express your experience, no further comments needed. Go read up on facebook some more, seems to be your preferred place for gaining “knowledge”.

I think S.S. meant "hawk", another way of purveying one's wares, which WS6store does quite fairly.
I have NEVER ONCE seen them doing a "hard sell" on ANYTHING within these forums.
Will they advise on new or recent availability of various products? Sure! And I would hope they continue doing so!
Nobody has a gun to their head. (though not a bad idea in a few cases... lol).
They are behaving as properly as any vendor /sponsor should, in my eyes.
Because of this, once I am in a position to require engine parts, I'll be pounding on their door.

Honestly i've gone from one to the other opinion. These days i just feel that if it works well, then it's not really stupid.

There's a huge range of things that work with our hobby that may be to one person's taste and not the other. Gatekeeping is fun when you're new at it, but after a while while it ends up being silly.

Just build what you like and be safe.

Pawn shop? As in we sell only new parts? Because thats not what a pawn shop does...but if you want a price for your parts the best i can do is $3.50. In fact, the marketplace/parts classified sectionis the pawn shop of ls1tech. Even funnier? Thats exactly where you're trying to pawn your parts.

Clearly you need a dictionary for Christmas. Ill put in a word with Car Parts Santa.

Also i enjoy forums as well. You know very well that IB would kill this platform if they had no sponsors. Not sure if you are acting obtuse there or if it's natual.

Soap box? No. Some people need a reminder that professionals like the sponsors on here do it day in and day out. As far as "reading up" for "knowledge" maybe you should try that dictionary. Its full of information like the differences between THEN and THAN, hock and sell new, as well as other nice words like sponsor and professional. I dont need to read on social media to gain knowledge. I do glean information from it, but if youre acting like you dont or cant, then youre nose must be bleeding from that pedestal youve put yourself on.

I WILL engage people on here. You get your bvd's in a wad because i engage people and act like a forum member then get em turned around backwards when i do what sponsors are supposed to do and offer items and support for persons asking questions. I cant read you mind just like you apparently cant read a dictionary. If you dont like seeing me be me, then there is a block button. It can save your triggered ego any more hurt. That way you can post your...whatever...and i wont see it and I can post and keep supporting this page and not make you need new underwear.

Thats obviously blunt and to the point. Just like I am.
