Oil System Priming
Figured I'd use a SB Chev pump, some AN fittings some hose and a bucket.
Hot Rod magazine just showed such a setup this month, gee, and I thought I was inventing something...…
Anyway, they showed using the port in the rear of the block just above the oil filter. So after the filter.
I was going to use the port just under the alternator in the front of the block. Ahead of the filter.
I'm looking at my LS3 block, it doesn't even have one in the rear like the L33.
So I gather, the front one is fine.
Thoughts?
I've had several sets of bearings come out of this thing looking rather pissed off, so trying the King XP coated this time around with more clearance and want to give them every chance to stay good.
