Default Is my oil pan cracked

There is the chunk missing from the top of the oil filter. Is this abnormal? If so, can I still use it?

I'm not sure what chunk you see missing unless you're talking about that little piece in the edge, I don't think it's missing it looks like the way it was cast.
Lay a gasket on there and see if it will seal, If it's that little piece on the edge then it's probably outside where the gasket will be anyway.

That is as-cast. Use it.

See on the first hole it appears a drill bit went too far and half the hole is exposed? It is all jagged as if it cracked. I had a truck pan and it was the same way. Why is it done this way?

It's supposed to be that way, It's drilled that way to connect two passages that don't line up directly. You can clean it up if it makes you feel better. Look at it from the other side and you'll see why it's like that.

thank you. I noticed that after some inspection and squirting brake cleaner around to see how the passages worked. Such a weird design
