Default Pushrod help

Hello,

I am building my lq block 408, and i need help selecting pushrods.

I have johnson lifters that have a suggested pre-load of .035" +/- .01"

I have listed my photos of my pushrod measurements per cylinder. "E" is exhaust, "I" is intake. The # is the # of turns of the comp cams pushrod tool. The 2nd pic shows the pushrod length calculated using .035 pre-load and the # of pushrods of each length... what length should i get??

Just a tip, use a digital caliper to measure the overall tool length. Then when you settle on a pushrod size and get the order, verify with a digital caliper.

7.335 looks to be the one to go with and FYI Johnson lifters are forgiving so being off .002 either way won't matter much. Measure overall length with the digital caliper, order overall length PR's and be sure to check them for proper length before installation. As for pushrods some .100 wall 5/16 chrome moly pushrods would probably get it done.
