Possible most
600 flywheel hp would be over 230ish bmep at 6500 rpm ,which usually is the upper limit, engine master competion stuff, without spinning it higher. I think Australia supercars are 10.1 compression, 245 bmep wise. So bmep in the 240s is possible. But I have yet to see much in the 240s or 230s for that matter.

You should have added 1/4 mile numbers to your orig post. I run a dyno, and your 1/4 numbers are pretty correct. It’s what I’d expect under great conditions. Stick shift is better for mph vs an auto.
My Vette made similar hp, within 1 to be exact. Dyno Dynamics dyno, pretty stingy. Mellow cam, good heads. It’s been in the 10’s.

Love the follow up that references NHRA stock eliminator. Al Corda in particular. Famous stock eliminator guy. Think they don’t spend a buttload of $$$ to do what they do? Amazing performance. They don’t drive these to go get groceries.

Anyway, my comment was snide. Sorry bout that. Carry on. Go fast.

Bty, my nova isn’t relevant here. And I can drive it.

he did indeed. I done some research and found a couple cars making 450 and 451 on stock heads. but most of them were solid roller cams, I'm still hydraulic roller. One of Scots personal cars made 440 on stock heads with a futral motorsports cam but my cams is quite a bit bigger. With some good 243 heads I could probably pick up 30 to 40 more rwhp. I dont have the money for frankenstein heads or trick flows so it is what it is. But in super pleased with it. Scott's a awesome tuner I wouldnt take my car to anyone but now that I've seen his work. Hes absolutely fantastic.

Sbe only? I’m assembling a 15:1 ls1 with a stock offset ground crank with hand ported 243 heads, curious to see what it does. Using an auto with a 6500 stall
though so I’m sure the dyno numbers will be lack luster lol

No on the fly cut but ptv clearance was extremely tight. And no it was ran on a old air strip that was turned into a drag strip near nashville tn a buddy of mine owns it. It's a closed track. It's on private land that's where everyone goes to street race. It's a legit set up has a pro tree and everything. I'll be bringing it the strip near rainbow city tho.

I thought 126mph was pretty high for your set up. I am curious what it will trap on a legitimate track

I'm curious also. I dont know if it's a true 1/4 mile but from the hp tuners track app it says it's right but I dont trust the GPS. I have a buddy that has a Ta stock cubic inch na h/c/I auto car and it runs 10.80s consistantly. If you wanna check my you tube channel out I'll be posting some videos of his car amd set up also. After I get a gear and a clutch I would say ima run 11.0. Probably wont break into the 10s without a faceplated t56 but theres been plenty of 6 speed cars break into the high 10s na at factory weight.

the syncros will allow it, ive found a trans with some blocker ring wear actually shifts a little easier north of jesus. just cant be scared of the crash each shift. cant expect more than a season out of one treating it like that. ive been through many a t56 with mine but im brutal on them.
