Default new cam / lifters

Im going to buy a TSP high lift stage 2 cam kit with springs and push rods. I am having trouble finding the ls7 lifters. What lifters should I run? Its a 03 lq9. The max rpm it will ever see is 5400. Its going in a airboat.

Just buy a set of stock LS lifters. The LS7 lifter is now the default replacement stock lifter. Everybody has them, and they are a good dependable lifter.

Last I read the LS7 lifters were on back order at many shops and harder to find than normal. A few calls and internet searches will probably turn up a set of OEM GM LS7 lifters for $200 to $400

Johnson & Morel also excellent aftermarket lifters. I've used LS7's in my projects and don't have experience with other lifters to comment more.
