Default balancer question

i was told that the ls1 was internaly balanced at the factory and for the corvette it also got a balance on the balancer on the crank shaft as well as being internaly balance

All LS engines are internally balanced. The crank dampeners are also balanced independently, as they slip on and are not keyed to any position. Corvette engines are no different than others in this respect.

ALL engines have "factory balancing" whether internally or externally balanced.
