I think with the 706 chamber and all the boost the minimal overlap would still drive pretty nice in the 346

Ls9 gaskets ordered.

 

We ordered that cam for a buddy’s 6.0 with twins. Will be quite awhile before it runs though. I’ll be the tuner.

Long studs! Some say a better design because it pulls from the main cap area. Just pulled a set from the LS1 in my C5. It’s getting an LS3, short studs.
I’ve got a semi budget LS1 in the works, a new home for the long studs.

Going to be interesting to see how the pistons live in your project.

 

I'm more worried about the rods than the pistons. We've had good luck with not breaking pistons .

 

The vehicle for this project is acquired . And we have a goal. Beat the SBE ls1 fbody record of 8.95 set by the Perkins Brothers .

That's the sbe nitrous record correct?

 

They did it with nitrous. I'm going to try to do it with boost .

The record doesn't state what power adder . Just says SBE ls1 in an fbody.
