Did I say surging, sorry I meant bucking, we spent 45 mins driving around while he tried to get rid of it with his laptop connected to my OBD port, we stopped and he downloaded files to my pcm a few times, it all made not the slightest difference.

Do you have a hole drilled in your throttle body blade? Some tuner do tht and tht fixes the bucking ... a good tuner tho doesn't need to

No my throttle body already has a 4.5 mm hole in it from the factory, Ive done some more reading on the subject since yesterday and it seems that bucking is harder to tune out than surging even more so with a manual in a LS1 than the latter engines.

The cam has 2.7 degrees of overlap which is not much but a fair bit for a baby cam of this size, I chose the specs on this cam myself for a custom grind so its a completely unproven cam.
