Glass beading a titanium valve stem will destroy a guide.
They are not stuck. Just the tips are demolished. The heads are at Unleashed Horsepower getting stainless valves installed. Never dealing with titanium again.
Well thanks for the paint lesson guys and if the paint was so good to use then why doesn't GM use it on the cylinder heads? Nope I still wouldn't use a paint on aluminum heads!
It would be an unnecessary added cost and process.
The glyptal (actually a ge brand name) or better armature enamel is used to improve oil drainback and keep oil from sludging due to retention in surface porosity. A thing with cast iron...aluminium not so much

There is nothing wrong with titanium when you use lash caps or hardened tips.
