Default Sorry another cam/spring/rocker arm thread

I have a 5.3 converted to a Iron Block LS6 with 243 heads, LS6 intake and LS6 rotating assembly. I have added the comp cams trunnion upgrade, btr 660 springs, Morel lifters and a custom ground cam from Martin when he was still at Tick Performance. The cam card is attached below. My question is are my stock rocker arms suitable for this much lift?
I will measure the true lift at the spring once my valve spring compressor arrives(I bought one from BTR and it was missing the top piece). What are the other things I should consider?

Yes, I run .650 lift on a stock rocker arm. However, my pedestals have been milled to change geometry with that amount of lift.

I'm running stock rockers with the Smith Bros bronze trunnion upgrade, .660" springs, Morel lifters, TSP v4 Torquer 231/234 .629" 615" 111* with no issues.

So my new valve spring compressor arrived today and I figured I'd get started on swapping out the valve springs. I found a mangled shim under the #1 Intake valve. Pics below anyone run into this before? I bought the heads used and sent them out to be ported and to get the vales done before I assembled the engine. The shim is .032 thick and it looks like the guy that assembled the head got in a hurry and didn't center the shim.

Based on the way that shim looks, the valve train was very unstable.

Wrong shim. The ID needs to fit the guide diameter.

Thanks for the input guys. I've been disappointed with this valve train from the beginning, it was already on the 243's when I bought them. I just wish the dude that did the port and polish would have told me there were issues when he did the work. Of coure the valve train noise seemed excessive and valve float at 6200 rpm seemed like something was wrong. I am going to remove everything that is in the heads now, finish installing the new valve spring kit from BTR(.660 Platinum dual springs with titanium retainers) then measure for correct pushrod length.

There are two types of valve seals... one integrated with the valve seat and the other just a seal with a separate valve seat. What seal/seat does your heads have?

The heads had seperate seat/seal. It doe now as well, thats how the BTR Platinum .660 spring kit came. I found 1 additional shim the was messed up. It was the on the exhaust valve on #8 cylinder. The 1st one I found was on thr intake of the #1 cylinder.
