The dyno shop "Dyno Works" in San Berdo said they would tie us down on Sunday. Kat drove over there, wasted the last of our "good gas" and the guy never showed.

We found another shop with a Mustang, and tied down at 9:00PM Sunday, and got bizarre readings. Zero gain in TQ at 4600rpm, shift point above 7500 (probably 9000) and RWHP CLIMBING at 7200.

I know for a FACT that the car is seriously faster at 4600rpm. Huh? I know for a fact that a 224 cam doesn't make peak HP over 7200 either.

Guys will trash talk DynoJets until the cows come home, but you must admit that they are pretty damn reliable compared to some other machines.

So we wasted what little time we had left to get the car ready. The real test will be MPH at Bowling Green. The car runs 118 right now stock, we will tell at the strip.

You should stay away from Vegas dude. You suck at betting.

You really believe a H/C package is worth 30rwhp?

How about this... For every HP I make UNDER 440, I pay you a dollar. For every HP I make over 440, you owe me a dollar.

Deal?

Or to avoid any dyno tricks, for every MPH I run over 121, you owe me $10, and for every MPH under I pay you $10. Come watch it run at Bowling Green this week.

OOPPSS!!! I forgot to look at your sig. Yes automatics suck on a dyno, but what can you do if you don't know how to drive a stick?

I would rather just race you for a large amount of money, and you wouldn't win.

What did it do on the mustang dyno? 380rwhp?

How's the oil control on the heads? I've heard Gen I AFR heads have oil control problems holding too much oil in the valve covers, and leaking oil past the valve seals down the guides. Have you seen anything like this on the LSx versions?

McRat, have you tried Brothers' dyno yet? I'm going to be there later this week to pick up my car and would love to check out your new setup.

Thanks to TEA of Kentucky for getting us on the dyno today! Very professional, smart group of guys.

Hot, humid, it pulled to mirror pulls at 448.xx HP/403.xx TQ. Lots of area from 4800-7200, with a peak of 6600 HP, 5000 TQ.

The TEA guys ROCK!!

Anyways, we were running fat after 4800, using stock mufflers, and zero dyno tricks on ET Streets. Estimate 465+ rwhp in "dyno mode" with more tuning.

Not as much power as I need tomorrow, but not too shabby either. Will post ET tomorrow.

I'm in town. Bring a bottle, you'll need it. PM me for my phone number and amount of money you want to lose.
