Finishing another shops started project, have a 69 Camaro with a 5.3 LM7 out of an 01 Silverado with a Comp Cams LS1 "Firefighter" cam, LS1 intake, injectors, lifter/spring kit, etc. The engine was put together before it came to us, finally got it wired, plumbed, and ready to fire, and we're having hard start, exhaust backfires, won't idle. ECM was base tuned from the company we got the standalone harness from, then we critiqued a few things, injector scaling (51.2lbs), VATS delete (weird it wasn't already...), EGR disable, etc. The only code we have to go off of now is a P0343 cam circuit high, it has a new cam sensor (that has not been hitting the cam), harness is all brand new, spun the engine over while watching the cam with the cam sensor out and believe we are able to see a tooth for the sensor to read but not sure exactly how it should look. Any help would be appreciated, we're pretty lost on this build.
