Default Tapping iron block for low mount alternator


I know i have to use a m10x1.5 tap. What kind and size drill bit i would need ? Thanks

drill the hole with an "R" drill bit (.339", or 11/32"), then use an M10-1.5 Tap.

ICT billet sells a template for $10 that I normally use to drill these.
The above drill bit size is correct.

I just mount the alternator and use it as a makeshift drill and tap guide.
