Possible picking up 2003 lq9 for 69 firebird. Planning on twin turbo, around 10-12 psi. Looking for high hp and tq from N/A motor which will better lend itself to boost at modest psi. Anyone have recommendations for combination of parts and part #'s for a build like this. Maybe a company that offers build sheets etc? Not as concerned with high rpm, more interested in all over torque. Don't want an engine that has to rev to 4-5 k before making serious power. My mercedes has a v12 twin turbo that pulls pretty darn hard from the moment you press the peddle all the way to redline. A motor like that, but with maybe 800hp/tq would make me happy. Hoping I'm not expecting too much? Car is beginning to look how I want. Figure i will start building engine to give me a break from bodywork and fabrication. Thanks for any info.
