possible trunnion upgrade problem

So over this last weekend I swapped in the trunnions from btr with c clip style. 2 out of the 16 rockers almost feel "bumpy" ? if that makes any sense. I used a small press from harbor freight, watched to make sure anything lined up directly, i didn't force anything in, bushings has the lettering on the outside, NONE of the needles fell out but after I put the c clip retainers on the ends of the rockers and I started to move the rocker around the trunnion it felt bumpy. there's no drag whatsoever they move freely but have the slightest bumpy feel to them. i dont know if "bumpy" is the right word to use here but yeah hope someone gets what im saying. any suggestions? should I just run them and see what happens ? its a boosted 6.0 with a custom cam shifting at 7k. the other 14 rockers feel smooth.

I would call BTR about this and relate to them exactly what you said here.
Actually that should have been your first move...

That's the plan but getting some info from people that have ran into this problem before would be just as good imo.

They sell individual replacement bearings for their TK kits for $2 each.
I would press those two rockers back apart, inspect then replace if necessary.

yeah i cleaned the hell out of the rockers after i removed the old bearings.

its almost as if the inside of the trunnion is getting caught up with one of the needles as it spins. not sure though it may clear up after a few break in miles who knows.

I’d remove the clips and washers and hose with brake clean and see if they free up.

They gave me s bunch of spare clips, washers and one spare bearing. I thought that was cool.
