Default Another what cam?

I know this has been covered a million times but here we go again. I am building a lq4 for a 69 camaro. The heads are 243 casting and Dan over at Naisers in throwing them into a cnc machine. I will be using a carb intake with headers a 3500 stall and 411 gears. The rear is built with coil overs 4 link etc. This will be a street car with a trip to the track from time to time. Dish pistons etc.
Suggestions? At this point im trying to educate myself.

Your carb intake is a single plane, I'm guessing?

I'd look over the cams listed in the link below as a starter. I'd definitely want over 11 to 1 compression etc. Then I'd call Cam Motion and see what they recommend.

Cam Motion - Carb Single Plane Intake - LS cams.

My thoughts would be something like the Junkyard Dog or maybe just a hair smaller.
