When replacing the valve stem seals the black ones are for intake and brown ones for the exhaust.
Does this kit work?

FelPro SS70945 and they're all the same color and doesn't matter whether its for the intake or exhaust.

Get the hat style seals, they're a much better design, and they work fine on 241 heads. Also much easier to remove when you have to.

The only time I ever have a problem removing any of them is when I can't find my pliers or vice grips.

I did it on my 4th gen with LT1. You will want this tool:

Makes the job pretty easy. I would go with dual valve springs. Half the chance you drop a valve

Lowering the K member is really really easy, and makes a huge difference when working on the top end in a 4th gen.

But I have done valve springs in a F body before without lowering the k member and it was not horrible. Not fun but not too bad.
