Lifters So im in the process of a mild ls1 build. Will be running decent cam (236*-240*-111*-.631"-.610"), ls6 intake, bigger throttle body, new pushrods, ported 241 heads and set pf Howards 1.7 Billet roller rockers. Aiming for around 400+ rwhp.
Main question i have is surrounding lifters. Looking for quality aftermarket and was wondering if i really really need tie/link bar lifters considering its not a mega hp motor? To me lifters are cheap insurance, so I don't want to really risk standard or ls7 ones, but I am not sure if i should just go quality single or tie bar lifters.
Any help would be appreciated.
