Default milling heads: how much causes intake fit problems ?

I just rebuilt a L33 5.3, and in the process, I had the heads shaved .015". It did not cause me any problem fitting the intake manifold, but I was wondering how much milling does it take to start causing any problem ?

I think it's less critical with LS plastic intakes than old school aluminum SBC apps due to a "looser fit" on the LS app.
