Which cam for the Street Walker?
I'm finally about ready to put the Happy Hooker S10 with HPR 468 back on the 1/4 mile track. Now I'm working on another S10 project called the Street Walker, I will drive this on the street, but my son will race it at the same track that I race at. The Street Walker motor is a fresh 5.3 LM7 with PRC 220 heads, BTR Stage 2 cam, Harland Shop Rockers, Ls6 intake with 90 mm Throttlebody, 1 7/8 headers and she also has a turbo 350 with 3800 stall, and an 8.8 rear with 4.10 gears. The plan is for him to race it on the cheap by using parts I already have accumulated in my shop. I already have a Fast 102 intake and NW 102 throttlebody that will definitely be going on it. I have 3 cams to choose from:
1) BTR Stage 2 = Specs: 227/238 .620"/.605" 113.5+2.5.
2) Cam Motion Titan King = Specs: 236/244 .621"/.604" 112+3.
3) Gwatney Performance SS4 square port cam= Specs: 236/252 .646"/.637" 113+4.
Anyone have thoughts, suggestions, opinions?
