Default ls1howto.com not working

I visited www.ls1howto.com just a couple weeks ago and now the website seems to be down. im about to do a head swap and im looking for another good write up/step by step for changing out the heads, i know its fairly straight forward but the how to's with some detail make me feel more confident with my first head swap. TIA.

try https://cachedview.com/

There are two snapshots of the site from 2003 using the archive org button. its yellow.

Take the link you need and paste it into the link above. click yellow button

you may need to google search to find the write up. you can copy the link straight from google without opening the link.

I have had to use cached pages in the past and it popped in my head as a solution for this.

No problem, glad I could help!

I copy pasted the entire writeup into Microsoft Word, just in case the whole thing goes down.

for what its worth...heads and cam swap are very very very easy. Reference LS!howto only once and that was to read the section about removing PS pump without disassembling it.

Let us know what you're doing. There are plenty of knowledgeable people on this forum that would be glad to help in any way we can.

Gents, use https://archive.org/web/ , search for http://www.ls1howto.com, select the most recent capture, and use ls1howto like normal.

Maybe they finally shut the site down after too many people stripped the threads out of the crank using the stock bolt to pull the balancer on...
