Default Dubts and Clarifications on LSX Motor Series

Hi everyone, I'm trying to learn more about lsx series engines, and in this regard I have a question, to many of you it may seem silly, but unfortunately I am still inexperienced with v8 LS engines.
The question is, how many LSX series engines are there? I thought there were 2, LSX 427 and LSX 454, which I saw on the chevrolet website.
But the LSX engine on the chevrolet website is credited for around 650 horsepower and costs around $ 12,000, while around the web there are 427 and 454 LSX engines that are credited for 2500 horsepower and cost between 18,000 and 23,000. dollars.

I have read the description of both engines but there are no differences in the name, so I was wondering if it was the same engine sold at different prices, and if the difference in power was due to the fact that pistons, connecting rods and internal parts are fitted for the boost.

Thanks guys for the clarifications, unfortunately the American V8s in Europe do not have a lot of diffusion, and I am only among my friends to be passionate about them, and unfortunately not anyone to compare myself with.

Those are rated numbers so mainly has to do with internal configurations.

GM Performance Parts offered the LSX376 in two different configurations and then there's the LSX454. Some have a forged crankshaft while others do not and none of them can make triple digit power without power adders which is not advisable on the LSX454 crate engine. If looking to go boost or power adders it's best to not go beyond a 4.00 crankshaft in the standard deck LSX but with the LSX tall deck you have more options. Then came the LSR blocks which are aluminum and offered in standard and tall deck versions.

You are right, I will try to be more precise, given the links of two lsx engines, very different in price and declared performance:

https://www.chevrolet.com/performanc...es/lsx/lsx-454

https://latemodelengines.com/427-lsx-lb-2.html

For example let's take these two LSXs, the first is a 454, while the second is a 427.
From what I can imagine, the 454 of the link does not have pistons and heads for the boost, so it is logical that the declared maximum power is much less.
But my question is: apart from heads and pistons made for boost, is the engine the same? Is the cylinder block the same? Or are they cast and forged engines in a different way, to withstand higher powers?

Thank you so much for your responses 👍🙂

The LSX blocks are 2000 hp capable and are basically the same just a different size bore but in no way can you compare a GM Perfomance parts crate motor to an LME built LSX427 that's specifically built for boost. The LME engine has ALL the goodies.
