Default Best rod selection

I have a a stock bore 5.3l engine and going to run a set of the summit ls pro pistons. They call for a 6.098 rod with a 0.943 wrist pin size.

Im wornding if the eagle rods will work or will I have problems. the eagle rod length is 6.100 and wrist pin size is 0.945

Rods I’m asking about

Pistons I’m running

The difference in Rod length would not matter. .002 difference can be accounted for with head gasket selection.

Pin diameter will be a problem since the pin needs to float

@Darth V8r is spot on here as always. As an FYI we have stock bore 5.3 Pro LS pistons for the 0.945" pin as well. For the 7cc dish version that would be part number SUM-326945780-7P. These pistons come with grooves in the pin bore and clips so you'll be able to use them with those Eagle rods with a 0.945" floating pin.
