That ignition system comes with a manifold pressure sensor, so you can tune it a bit like an EFI system, so looking online for a similar engines timing curve could be a good start. If you have good piston quench height I would be a little surprised if you needed more than 24 degrees of timing at WOT.

Hey Mapplin ! Your engine combo is very similar to mine. I have 3.42's and a 4l60e, Yank PA3400 in a '71 Camaro RS. I haven't got it to the track yet. Keep us posted on how the test and tune goes. I'm very interested! Wow 4.56's

Well just got back from the track and the car did well but for some improvement ran 4 passes .ran a 7.24 at 98 mph 7.36at 97 mph 7.51 at 94 mph and the last run I blow the tires off and almost hit the wall but other than that it did very well my 60 foot was 1.6 to 1.8 I do have 295/55/15 Mt drag radials still wasn’t able to adjust the timing on my msd6014 so I put it on ls1HO didn’t have a hotspot for the laptop 😒
