Default Rust in cam position sensor hole

When taking out the old cam position sensor from my lq4, a bunch of rust buildup from inside the hole fell into the engine. The cam has a good amount of rust on it.
I’m ready to pull the motor back apart but am wondering what you guys would do in this situation.

I'm not sure it is a real cause for alarm.
If your biggest worry is the rust that fell in, maybe first drain your oil, then pour some kind of solvent in the sensor hole, letting it flush as much of the rust out as possible.
Rust is softer than cast iron and should be fairly harmless.
