Default Head milling?

I have a 5.3 with 4.8 flat top pistons, I've got 706 heads and using a btr stage 4 truck cam v2 I've been trying find how far I can have my heads milled without any ptv problems. If anyone can let me know a rough estimate it would help me out alot.

Maybe it's just me but I would not trust someone's advice on how much I can mill my cylinder heads. You need to find this out by taking the measurements or have you engine builder verify the P-V clearance.

If I told you that you'd be perfectly fine going .030 would you do it? Whay not find out exaclty how much you can get away with in order to squeeze that last little bit of power.

Since you're pulling the heads or already have them off already, I would measure what you have for PTV clearance now and go from there.
