Default Another oil pressure question

My 13 Tahoe 5.3 sits about 21-22 psi at operating temperature when cruising when I coast it will drop to about 19 is this normal or should I be pulling the pan now and checking the pickup o ring has 114k miles.

My 2013 Lade used to be at 24psi at cruising speed and would go down to 20-22 at idle and up to 35psi at WOT

My dealer said this was normal but I had them install a new oil pressure sensor screen as well as a new oil valley cover when they replaced all my lifters. This only raised my OP to 28 psi at cruising.

Seems these engines just have lower OP than what were used to in our Fbodies.

its crazy they run that low I used to work at gm I cant for the life of me remember seeing them that low but then again I cant remember what I did yesterday. Cant even think of what my f body runs at. Lots of concussions over the years memory is screwed.

Didn't the cars c come with tip-n-tell gauges?

I thought they basically had 3 positions, Bad, OK, & Wow thats high! Basically a analog idiot light.
The senders were the same just the mechanics of the gages were different. ?

Haven't tortured a old GM sedan in a long time.

My dads 76 GMC Jimmy, had that style pressure gauge, always went straight to about the 30lb mark on startup, never saw it higher and only time you saw it on 0 was before you turned it on.
It died and I replaced it not knowing anything at the time and the new gauge was a regular unit that actually measured pressure..

The rule of thumb is 10 psi for every 1000 rpm
