Default Scratch on cylinder wall, run it?

Have a scratch on cyl wall you can’t feel it but you can catch a fingernail on it.if I could run it another 20,000 miles or so that wouldn’t be bad. It’s a ls1 that I race some going to put a 228r cam in ,wouldn’t rev it too high.

Send it. It's not going to hurt a thing.

Might have a little more leakage in that cylinder but should't hurt. Might lose a couple hp that you'd never notice. Now it it was going 90 degress to that direction....nah. catch a ring on it. This kind of scratch is fine.

Thanks, you do have to press hard hang a fingernail on it and it had like a 4% leak down compression was 185 so that would make sense.

You just need to trim your fingernails. Problem solved.
