Ls oil pressure drop after startup I have a rebuilt 2003 lq9 with new oil pump, pickup oring, new cam crank and rod bearings, new oil diverter. The engine was rebuilt because of low oil pressure and now it still has low pressure. On startup it has 40psi but then slowly drops to around 20psi. I have checked with a mechanical gauge. Even when warm if I cut the engine off and start it back up it will go back to 40psi then slowly drop. There is no oil sensor screen as it’s a 2003 lq9. Any suggestions?
