24 tooth reluctor or converter box?

24 tooth reluctor or converter box? Have an ls2 I (eventually) plan on swapping into my c5. Also was planning on throwing a 4" Crank. Since I'm getting a new crankshaft, am I better off ordering one with the 24 tooth reluctor? Or is running the converter box a better option?

Hopefully this isn't an odd question, but... LS2s are 24X and all C5 engines are 24X, so why would you consider using a 58X reluctor and having to buy a converter box? The 58X has better resolution, but I don't see there being a performance gain from using one, especially if your PCM is already 24X.

Do the reluctor wheel. Some failures reported here with the converter box.
