Default Spark plug confusion

I’m having some trouble finding a solid answer on what spark plugs to use. I see a lot of people saying they are running ngk tr55ix’s however on ngk’s website it recommends using tr5ix. I know the difference is the gap size with the tr55ix’s being bigger but I’m still not entirely sure which plugs to get. Also in addition to changing the spark plugs should I go ahead and change the spark plug wires?

thank you for your help it’s much appreciated

I’d throw a set of 55’s at it and call it a day.

Is the engine factory stock...no mods? If it is I'd run the TR5IX they are already gapped @ .040. If the wires haven't been changed before it might not be a bad idea to get new ones
