Ls1 oil pressure
Hey, I got a 98 camaro z28 rebuilt shortblock at 93k miles fully stock other than exhaust and manual fan switches. I’m at 97k right now. New oil pump but stock… was wondering if this oil pressure would concern you guys lol. This is as low as it gets but when close to redline it never goes past 55 when warm.. I kno it’s 10psi per 1k rpm so like bruh should I be concerned lol. Anyways thx for any advice. Hoping it’s jus the gauge but like I rebuilt my whole car yet dunno how to put a mechanical gauge. Running 5w-30 conventional

Has it always been like that? Or was it suddenly lower one day? Need mechanical gauge to verify, but if this is how it is when its warm I wouldn't sweat it. Was probably just built loose when you had it rebuilt. If you know what the main and rod bearing clearances are that would also help.
For example, my LS3 stroker never goes past 55-60 when fully warmed up either and it sees the limiter every time I drive it. I used to freak out about it until I got the build sheet from the builder and my mains and rods were all loose. Mains are at .0023 to.0024 and my rods are all at .0024 to .0025. Aluminum also expands with heat so these clearances open up a tad when over 200 degrees F.
Also, never trust the stock gauge on the dash. I'd keep it matted and not worry about it unless its at 0 and you can hear awful noises.

LS oil pump pressure requirements for normal operation are closer to 6 or 7 psi per 1,000 rpm than 10 psi per 1,000 rpm.
I forgot the exact oil pressure spec but it's something like 10 psi for the 1st 1,000 rpm and 6 psi per 1,000 rpm after.
A sudden change in oil pressure would be a concern. Checking as mentioned above is good idea etc.

That's the old racers' rule of thumb for SURVIVAL in a RACE situation. It has literally NOTHING WHATSOEVER TO DO with what any normal engine actually DOES, especially one suitable for driving on the street.
Normal-ish oil pressure for one of these engines would be maybe 20 - 30 psi at idle, and 50 - 55 at cruise RPM (say, 2000 or above), hot. Won't ever go much above that, if at all.
Your video looks about as normal as normal can get. I described "normal" up there before I even watched it.
I would not be concerned with what your gauge shows even if it was my own motor. As far as I can see it's good to go.
