Yeah I’m anxiously waiting myself it arrived at black stone Monday not sure how quick they’re turn around time is. Also had to drop truck off at trans shop for a small leak at bellhousing. Two issues wish the swap went better and didn’t have to worry lol.

I doubt that's enough aluminum to be an issue.

You did your due diligence, I’d run it. What oil are you using.

The way I see it here is you have 2 choices…either pull it and tear it down, or drive it like you stole it. I’d drive it if it were mine.

Yeah. Well engine builder said looks good I’m going to just run it I’ll check again at about 2k miles when I switch to synthetic from the conventional. At this point I’m going to run it. It’s my daily driver so don’t have time to wait for it to be torn down for a “possible issue”. I appreciate all the help and input guys.

I've just done a full rebuild on my ls1 and my oil looks the same as the OP after 500kms. I was running Penrite running in oil and have just changed to a standard mineral today.
I installed a CHE trunnion kit and I was wondering if that may be the cause? It seems some people get glitter from the bronze bushings.

Edit.
After a bit more research, I think it might just be from the ARP lube used on the head studs and rod bolts.

If you have a black funnel pay attention to fresh oil as you're pouring it in. The black will make even the new oil look glittery.

I you can’t hear my valvetrain unless I stick my ear about a foot of the intake. It’s very quiet. Johnson st2116lsr .033-.037 preload
BTR shaft mount with BTR design rockers.
