I would check valve seals first, as it is easiest.

. Would it be a lot of oil or say just some small amount on the head? I’ve got the vc off and do see a small
amount puddled around every spring. Gonna do a compression check also

Run the engine. Let it warm up or Do what it's going to do so that when you shut it off and let it cool the next time you start it, it's ready to splat on the floor like that again

Once it is cool Pull the spark plugs out and inspect them that should probably tell you which cylinder is having problems, The spark plugs don't provide any clues

You can also crank it with the plugs out and see if pukes the oil fuel whatever it's leaking out of said spark plug hole

Default Puking fuel from plug hole

Checking compression with plugs out and fuel was spraying out of one of the drivers plug holes. Amy ideas?

Glad you found the problem, Replace the injector right away don't run it again until you do, otherwise it will severely damage the engine via hydrolock

Default Thanks

Thanks for the replies on my fuel problem. Def had 2 that were leaking and one stuck open. Replaced the fpr on the rail also. Think this could’ve been some of the problem too. Never seen this much trash Good ole cheap low octane fuel.

Horrible trash at the fpr

Gotta love the GM LS PCV setup. Fills the intake with oil mist and turns into a jelly. As it dries up over time, you have what you’ve got there…a mess.

That's a damn good argument right there for venting to atmosphere. Like we both do!! Catch cans help. But puking crankcase pressure to atmosphere, into a bottle with breather holes, flat works. I recently installed a Vararam on my LS7/C5. Had to remove the TB due to a previous 1/2" TB spacer I CNC'd and installed before retirement. Vararam wouldnt work with it. Sickening how much oil is still in my intake. I previously had removed, and stood it on end to drain. I then soaked up as much as I could, because you cant reach into the opening very far. A couple of hard braking episodes at the strip must've pushed more of it to the front. GM PCV is an oxymoron, like jumbo shrimp!!!
