Default Piston Replacement

I have a 5.3 engine bored to 5.7, the machine shop left a cylinder very tight causing premature wear on a piston that started to slap, I can't find a replacement for my piston in my area, a friend gave me one but it has a line that sticks out on one side, same rod, both are flat and build by mahle, same size, I don't know where my set of pistons comes from. What do you think? I send it?

You already stated it was a Mahle piston. It's just a later revision. If you look on Ebay there are a few used ones. The damaged one appears to be a later revision with the coated skirt. Here is a good used one.

Thanks dude, the problem is that I am in El Salvador and the shipping and import costs will be very high, I think it would be my last option
