Default Red line motor oil

any good? a buddy of mine just opened up a shop of his own. he has some good stuff, i noticed redline oil and water wetter in his shelves. now he can get it to me real cheap and i was wondering if i should use it instead of mobil ??? and how about that water wetter??

I have used RedLine for the last 10 years. Yeah, it is a bit pricey, but it has worked wonderfully for me. The water wetter has worked real good to for me. I'm in Texas, so it gets pretty hot down here.

Alot of my friends use Mobil 1...they absolutely live by it. So, I guess it is your own preference.

Redline 10w40, Amsoil 10w40 and Royal Purple Racing 41

I am using Redline 10W-40, but I am a dealer for Amsoil now so I am switching the next oil change.

ill guess ill give it a try...just wanted to make sure that there were no bad things that had happened to ls1's on this oil.

It's pricey oil, but very good, definitely one of the best choices you can make.
