Default creamy oil on dipstick

Had a search but thought i'd ask as nothing really comes up matching ,, 5.3 {turbo} its only been used on the road a couple time since getting it n my c10 been started a lot while setting up tuning etc, goes fine not temp issues etc. but when I checked tthe oil yesterday the dipstick was very creamy etc , wiped checked again same sort of deal , drained the oil & its standard looking oil coloured oil nothing odd about it ,, I dipped the stick with no oil in the sump still have a bit of creamy **** come out on it , pumped a bit of clean oil down the tube & refilled the sump .. Started it let it get to temp around the block , left to cooldown & checked nice & clean. Should I be concearned about possible head gasket or cracked head its not using coolant well in about 200miles I topped it up about 200mils , but it does come out the overflow when left to idle at temp .. sorry long winded but seem very strange , may just be a lot of moisture from sitting & multiple short start ups.

cheers

Normally, "creamy" oil would indicate coolant in the oil. I would suspect a leaky head gasket.

IF it's just the dipstick, it "could be" just a little condensation from humidity in the air and not running enough to "cook it off".

Plugs all look good and not loosing coolant, you're "probably" fine.

Sounds like condensation to me. Stuff needs to be ran and driven to clear that out.

Are your heads 706 casting?

If so, pop off a valve cover. See if there's nice puffy yellowish foam in there. If so, check the casting mark on the head castings and see if there's one that looks kinda like a D cell battery, toward the right (front on the pass side, rear on the driver's) kinda under the rocker stand rail. If so, check all the head bolts in the center row (upper row of large ones) for places that look steam cleaned. If so, you have the ever-popular Castech 706 crack. It'll look something like this.

If so, I see new/welded-up/other heads in your future.

I actually have a video of that leak in one of them 706 Heads, buddy of mine built a 5.3l and a couple weeks later it had water in the oil. He looked into it and found that Head issue. We started it, let it run till hot, shut it down and pulled a Valve Cover. Watched the Coolant literally come out of the metal.
