Default Windage Tray Nuts

I am not sure if I can re use the windage tray nuts on a LS1 windage tray with the new standard main bolts. I believe they are a flange locking nut M8 1.25 and i would like to replace them I just wanted to make sure that I was getting the correct nuts. I was looking at ARP 300-8312 not sure if they are correct

I found the GM# 11609746 and I ordered HNT-1018-10 Improved racing

You can re-use them a couple times I think. Improved Racing has replacement nuts on their website if you want to go that route. They always ship fast too.

I've reused them. Having said that I bet they have them at Ace Hardware. They have a great bolt/nut selection at least in our town.

They are stamped to be mechanically self-locking.

Keep that in mind.

The windage tray nuts that ARP supplies with their stud kits are just simple hardware store grade nuts. All they are doing is holding a metal tray up. You can certainly re-use them.
