Default Over gapped ring? First build

Hello all,

So lq 6.0 build is underway. Its going to be gen 4 dished pistons, ls7 lifters, dual springs in 317s, bob at brute speed's blower cam, d1sc procharger with 3.4 blower pulley and 7.6x crank, converting it to be flex capable so e85 can be ran as I have it local, meth kit, and probably more that I'm forgetting. Anyways with all that considered I started gapping rings and quickly reading saw someone say lots of boosted cars run .030 on top and bottom so I went with it. More I'm reading seems the consensus is to run tighter than that. So I only gapped one ring after finishing other parts of the build but should I just gap the last 7 tighter, .030 the rest of the tops, or just buy a new ring and go tighter on all 8? Thank you in advance! Be gentle it's my first time!

Run with what you’ve done there on all 8. .028 vs .030 is no difference. I would have done a .028 top and .030 bottom, but .002 on a ring gap with boost is nothing.

before I touch the bottom rings, .030 is still good for those with the same gap up top?

@Che70velle stated that you'll be okay with the equal ring gaps.

Typically you want a little more on the second ring than the top in order to reduce chances of ring flutter and if you wanted to go .028-.030 on the rest that would be okay too.

I like .030

probably stagger the gap between the 2 rings and use .028

A little over is ALWAYS better than a little under when it comes to rings and sause.
