Default Lunati 382 stroker kit install

Is there anyway to install this kit without
the engine out of the car but up on a lift?
It seems not possible, but you never know...
Thanks for your help,

Gert

i am pretty sure i already responded to this , but for whatever reason ... i think you HAVE to hone the block .003" to.005" to make room for the forged pistons , because they expand when they heat up hope this helps <img border="0" alt="[USA]" title="" src="graemlins/patriot.gif" />

...OK it is not impossible; however, you must completly disassemble the front of the car ...thats right ...everything in front of the back seats must come off except the motor ...this includes the tranny too...you can probably get away with leaving the drive shaft in the car but you will have to hold it up in the air while you are working since the tranny must come off too...

...since this is not an efficient way to perform the mod, you should consider other alternatives...

...the best way to complete the job is to remove the engine, disassemble it, hone the bores, install the crank and pistons and plug the motor back in the car...

Not really, it's too much difficult since the K member would be in the way, imagine that engine swaying above your head, softly dripping oil on your face...

Thanks for the feedback. I think what drove the last nail into the coffin is the image of the oil dripping in my face - it can't be done, so, the engine must come out.
