Default valve seals bad

I found some of my valve seals bad... been that way for probably 2000 miles according to my heavy oil consumption... Question.... is there any damage from this or can i just replace them and forget it

how old are your PP heads? im pretty sure terry switched over to the viton seals a long time ago. if you still have the teflon seals im sure terry would send you a new set of the vitons.

I can't imagine that anything else bad would have happened to your engine from bad valve seals. You should be fine with just replacing them.

Bad valveseals shouldn"t hurt anything, just lets oil get by valve into combustion chamber.Maybe fouled plugs, bad seals let more oil on the valve stem itself if anything more lubrication.Should be OK!!
