Default What Block Is Stronger Ls1 Or Ls6

I am having a blocked sleeved for a 436 CID is there a differance between the to blocks?

Most machinists familiar with the LSX motors will tell you to try to find a used LS1 block, as they are the best candidates for re-sleeving.

By the way, who is re-sleeving your block?

I have a resleved LS1 block thats already bored to 4.000 if your looking for one to bore out even more, I'm not sure how much bore they can take though. I was always under the impression that you had to go with a different block for bigger than 4.030 bore on the alum resleved blocks.

I already have a new LS6 block, Wasn't sure to sleeve the LS6 or use it as a core for a lS1. What sleeves do you have in your block?
