need cam advise
need cam advise Well i think it is time to do the cam swap. I basically want to throw it in there than in about 2 weeks get hp tuners to check it out. I have a ported MAF, ported TB, weiland manifold, hooker long tubes, ORY, B&B triflow catback.
I was checking out the 224/224 112 LSA thunderracing cam
or the C1 cam from MTI, This is my daily drive i want more HP but not to make it hard to drive, my car is a M6. What other cam would you suggest? Thanks for the help, Nick

one Q.... why are you putting on that super heavy over priced intake??? just throw on an LS6.........and save 20lbs up front!
i just installed my cam and its awsome.... i thought that a 114 would be to docile but it lopes great, has great driveability (very little low speed surging) and a killer power band from 3K-redline! it feals like boost at 3K
just dont go crazy on the lift and your valve springs will last also.

call Texas Speed and Performance for sure they will give you the hook up. Go with a TSP 231/237 .598/.595 112+2 Camshaft if you want some awesome power with a mail order tune from TSP.

well its a "daily driver" and it cant be "hard to drive" ....
thats all the info i need to recommend the cam that i have because those were my main objectives when picking my cam!
its not telling him what cam to use its just letting him know how much i like my cam and some of the charactoristics so people can use that info to use twords there decision.......

thanks for the info, it is a hard desicion because this is the only car and i need it to be drivable and i know 112 lsa is lopey but that is ok with me, i didn't know wheater to do a 220ish cam or wheather a 224 cam would still be cool,
