I weighed a stock LS1 pushrod vs a Comp Cams chrome molly .080 wall pushrod today. Both weighed 53 grams. That surprised me because I thought one reason to use C/M push rods was to reduce valve train mass. Although, nowhere on the Comp package did it say chrome molly. They were purchased from Thunder Racing as C/M, but the package was labeled High Tech Pushrods 7.400.
