It's a fairly new cam and really not a daily driver type cam for most people. I don't think too many people have a lot of miles on them yet. My T-rex and just about every other bolt-on install is just about finished. I got the Patriot Gold springs and if they last 15k miles, that'd be cool with me. It'll probably take me 2 yrs to put 15k on the car. Probably similar to the G5X3.

Should be no PTV issues with this cam as long as the heads aren't milled, the pushrods are stock length, etc.

Good luck. I bet you change that cam in less than 5000 miles. You're going to have your hands full with a T-Rex in a daily driver.

i think that you may have misunderstood what he was saying. not the spring life for 5000 miles, but the fact that a cam like this you may not like on a daily driver. so he is saying that you would probably change after 5000 miles.

I drive it 4 days out of the week to work. The rest of the time it sits in a garage and go everywhere else in my freinds, roomates, girlfriend(s) cars. But with a good tune it wont be that bad. I have a freind with a cam almost as big as the trex in his SS and it drives fine. He also has a full spool and I dont mind it that much even though people say they are horrable on the street. I guess some people can tolerate more then others
